The Colorado Division of Disaster Emergency Services and the Federal
Emergency Management Institute are pleased to award to Ms. Lea Ekman,
through you, the enclosed certificate recognizing her achievement in
completing the courses which comprise the Professional Development Series
in Emergency Managment.
Ms. Ekman's accomplishment in completing these courses is a notable
achievement, signifying her commitment to increased professionalism in the
emergency management field. Ms. Ekman is one of only three people around
the state who have achieved this recognition of professionalism in
emergency management.
The mandate to build an integrated emergency management system within
our communities, our state, and our nation is one which depends on the
