RESOLUTION
RE: APPROVE AFFIDAVIT OF CORRECTION, CONCERNING CARRIAGE ESTATES
REPLAT, AND AUTHORIZE CHAIRMAN TO SIGN
WHEREAS , the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS , the Board did, on the 30th day of January, 1985 ,
approve a replat of a Resubdivision of Lot 7 and 8 , Block 4 ,
Carriage Estates First Filing, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with an Affidavit of
Correction, correcting the name and legal description of said
replat to: A Resubdivision of Lot 7 , Block 4 , Carriage Estates
First Filing and Lot 8 of the First Replat of CArriage Estates
First and Third Filing, and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to
approve said Affidavit of Correction and authorize the Chairman to
sign same.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that said Affidavit of
Correction be, and hereby is, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chairman be, and
hereby is, authorized to sign said Affidavit of Correction.
The above and foregoing Resolution was , on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 5th day of
June, A.D. , 1985 .

AFFIDAVIT OF CORRECTION
This affidavit is to correct the name and the legal description of
the subdivision of REPLAT A RESUBDIVISION OF LOT 7 AND A PART OF
LOT 8, BLOCK 4, CARRIAGE ESTATES FIRST FILING *to the following.
"REPLAT"
A RESUBDIVISION OF LOT 7, BLOCK 4, CARRIAGE ESTATES FIRST FILING
AND LOT 8 OF THE FIRST REPLAT OF CARRIAGE ESTATES FIRST AND THIRD
FILINGS.
Subdivisions being a part of the West half of the Southwest quarter
of Section 24, Township 5 North, Range 66 West of the 6th principal
meridian, Weld County, Colorado.
CERTIFICATE OF DEDICATION, OWNERSHIP AND MAINTENANCE:
Know all men by these presents that James A. Ricketts and
Kathleen C. Ricketts being the owners , mortgagee or lienholder of
certain lands in Weld County, Colorado, described as follows :
Beginning at the Northeast corner of Lot 7, Block 4, Carriage
Estates first filing; thence N51°39' 51"W along the Northeasterly
line of said Lot 7 a distance of 112.49 feet; thence S41°24' 58"W
along the Northeasterly line of said Lot 7 a distance of 109. 79
feet; thence 500°58 ' 40"E along the West line of said Lot 7, Block
4 said Carriage Estates first filing and Lot 8 of the First Replat
of Carriage Estates first and third filings a distance of 77.57
feet; thence S81°12' 54"E a distance of 113. 99 feet to a point on
the Westerly R. O. W. line of Park View Drive, said point being the
beginning of a nontangent curve to the right, the delta of said
curve is 29°33' 03" , the radius of said curve is 230 .00 feet , the
chord bears the N23°33' 38"E, 117.31 feet; thence along the arc of
said curve and said Westerly R. O.W. line of Park View Drive a
distance of 118 .63 feet to the point of beginning. Containing
0 .420 acres more or less or 18 . 280 square feet.
Have by these presents laid out, platted and subdivided the
same into Lots and Blocks, as shown on this plat, under the name
and style of "REPLAT A RESUBDIVISION OF LOT 7, BLOCK 4, CARRIAGE
ESTATES FIRST FILING, AND LOT 8 OF THE FIRST REPLAT OF CARRIAGE
ESTATES FIRST AND THIRD FILINGS" and do hereby dedicate to the
public all ways and other public right-of-way and easements for
purposes shown hereon. It is understood and agreed to by the
owner that the dedicated roadways shown on this plat will not be
maintained by the county until and unless the owner or his assigns
constructs the streets in accordance with the subdivision regula-
tions in effect at the date of the recording
of this plat.
