GENERAL INFORMATION FOR
SUBDIVISION EXEMPTION
ASSOCIATED NATURAL GAS, INC. - NEW RAYMER GAS PLANT
Note: This Subdivision Exemption is being filed in conjunction
with an USR application already filed.
Associated Natural Gas, Inc. is proposing a 30 million cubic foot
per day natural gas processing plant. This facility is being
built to supply natural gas to the front range market and to
enhance the marketability of gas liquids derived from Weld County
oil and gas wells. t

The plant site is within an agricultural area and is consistent H
with the Weld County Comprehensive Plan and similar plants are � a
located in agricultural zones.

The facility will operate as a business with no proposed k o
residential unit on the site . The closest residence is z
approximately 1 mile to the east. Z
The facility will operate 24 hours a day. Approximately twenty
(20) LPG transport trucks a day will be needed for hauling of
liquids . The plant will be manned 12 hours a day and operatecn
unattended at night.

Future development in the area is anticipated to be additional z
agricultural uses with continued development of the oil and gas o co
in Weld County. This future development is compatible with the
use intended and in fact is necessary in the case of oil and gas x �,
development. The nearest municipality is New Rayner, two miles
to the east.

Domestic water will be purchased for use on the site. The sewage
disposal will be handled by a septic system sized to accommodate
the equivalent of a single family residence. No additional F,j1.
sanitary facilities will be required. z

There are no storm water retention facilities at the present site r C
and none are planned for the future addition. The site location O
is not within any flood plain or known geologic hazard. o w
The fire protection measures necessary for a facility of this n o
type consist primarily of continued attention to safety oa
procedures by the employees . Fire extinguishers will be
available at the facility and in all vehicles . Fire protection
is also provided by the New Rayner-Stoneham Fire Protection
District.
It is not the intent of Associated Natural Gas, Inc. to store or
stockpile any quantity of materials or waste at the site . There
is no waste associated with this facility and the only materials
that will be stored are valves and piping materials for
maintenance and repair of the facility. Product storage will be
natural gas liquids .

The facility will be designed in accordance with the following
applicable codes to insure the protection of the health and
safety of the inhabitants of the neighborhood and of Weld County
and to meet all Weld County ordinance requirements.
