RESOLUTION
RE : APPROVE APPOINTMENT OF OFFICIAL REPRESENTATIVE AND ALTERNATE
TO THE NORTH FRONT RANGE WATER QUALITY PLANNING ASSOCIATION
WHEREAS , the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS , on July 27 , 1987 , the Weld County Board of
Commissioners joined the North Front Range Water Quality Planning
Association and ratified the Articles of Association, and
WHEREAS, in accordance with the Articles of Association, the
Board of County Commissioners must designate an official
representative and alternate, and
WHEREAS, the Board wishes to designate Commissioner Gordon
Lacy as the official representative , and Wes Potter, Director of
Environmental Health, as the alternate .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that Gordon Lacy be, and
hereby is , designated the official representative of Weld County
to the North Front Range Water Quality Planning Association.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that Wes Potter be, and
hereby is, designated the alternate to the North Front Range Water
Quality Planning Association.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 23rd day of
September, A.D. , 1987 .
