RE: PROPOSED 1989 BUDGET FOR BEEBE DRAW LAW ENFORCEMENT AUTHORITY
A public hearing was conducted on October 26, 1988, at 10:00 A.M. , with
the following present:
Commissioner Gene Brantner, Chairman
Commissioner C.W. Kirby, Pro-Tem
Commissioner Jacqueline Johnson
Commissioner Gordon E. Lacy - Excused
Commissioner Frank Yamaguchi
Also present:
Acting Clerk to the Board, Tommie Antuna
Assistant County Attorney, Lee D. Morrison
Director of Finance & Administration, Donald Warden
The following business was transacted:
I hereby certify that pursuant to a notice dated September 1, 1988, and
duly published September 14, 1988, in the Platteville Herald, the Board
of County Commissioners convened as the Beebe Draw Law Enforcement
Authority District Board and a public hearing was conducted to consider
the proposed 1989 budget for the Beebe Draw Law Enforcement Authority.
Mr. Warden, Director of Finance and Administration, said this budget
will be greatly impacted by the results of Amendment #6, which is on
the November 8 ballot; therefore, he recommended that this hearing be
continued to November 14. Commissioner Johnson moved to continue this
matter to November 14, at 9:30 A.M. Seconded by Commissioner Kirby,
the motion carried unanimously.
This Certification was approved on the 31st day of October, 1988.
