RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS TO JUVENILE COMMUNITY REVIEW BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, on November 2 , 1987, the Board of County
Commissioners created by Resolution, the Juvenile Community Review
Board in accordance with Section 19-8 .5-103 , CRS, 1973 , and
WHEREAS , said Board shall be comprised of a representative
from the Weld County Social Services Department, a local school
district, a local law enforcement agency, the local probation
department, the Division of Youth Services, a local bar
association member, and a private citizen, and
WHEREAS, on November 4 , 1987 , the Board did, by Resolution,
appoint all of the representatives with the exception of the local
bar association member and the private citizen, and
WHEREAS , the Board now desires to appoint Carolyn Olson, to
represent the local bar association; and Nomie Ketterling, as the
private citizen, with their terms to expire November 1 , 1990 .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that Carolyn Olson, as the
local bar association member, and Nomie Ketterling, private
citizen, be, and hereby are, appointed to the Juvenile Community
Review Board with their terms to expire November 1 , 1990 .
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 25th day of
November, A.D. , 1987 .
