RE: APPROVE AGREEMENT BETWEEN WELD COUNTY AND PUBLIC SERVICE
COMPANY OF COLORADO AND AUTHORIZE CHAIRMAN TO SIGN
WHEREAS , the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, an Agreement between Weld County and Public Service
Company of Colorado concerning electric service to the Severance
Grader Shed has been presented to the Board, and
WHEREAS, the terms and conditions are as stated in the
Agreement, a copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated
herein by reference, and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it appropriate to
approve said Agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the Agreement between
Weld County and Public Service Company of Colorado concerning
electric service to the Severance Grader Shed be, and hereby is,
approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chairman be, and
hereby is, authorized to sign said Agreement.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 9th day of
September, A.D. , 1987.

electric line for 11538 County Road 74, Severance, Colorado
is $ 289.00
This refundableinaassimbiale cost must be paid in advance of construc—
tion. This price is valid until December 1, 1987
This cost represents electric service for grader shed and trailer
with one service loop.
The type of service provided will be permanent
and will be billed on Rate Schedule E060 , which is
on file with the Colorado Public Utilities Commision and is available
for your inspection.
This cost is contingent on see attached list

Pouring of driveways must be delayed until after installation of electric lines.
_ Landscaping must be delayed until after installation of electric system.
_ Customer will be responsible for replacing existing sod, shrubs , trees, etc. , at no cost
to PSCO.
_ Paving must be delayed until after installation of electric system. (This normally applie
in commercial areas where parking lots, etc. are to be crossed by electric lines.)
_ Customer will be responsible for repairing existing paving at no cost to PSCO
_ No special compaction of electric trenches will be provided; wheel tamping only.
_ Estimate does not include non-refundable frost charges of $ (Maximum)
_ Customer to furnish ±6" final grade prior to underground electric construction. Transform
and switch cabinet locations must be to exact final grade. Curb and gutter must be instal
ed prior to installation of electric facilities in cases of front lot construction.
_ Any changes by the customer after construction has been done that require alterations to
the underground electric system will result in additional costs to the customer.
_ All areas on door sides of the transformers and/or switch cabinets are to remain free of a
vertical obstructions for a minimum distance of 8' for maintenance operations.
_ Water, sewer, gas, telephone, and other utilities shall not be installed under the
tranformer pad. These utilities shall clear the outer edge of the transformer pad by at
least 12".
_ All roof drain downspouts are to be directed away from PSCO equipment to prevent damage
and/or settling of PSCO facilities.
Z Any change in this layout that will affect the estimate will void this estimate. PSCO
engineering manhours to supply an additional estimate(s) must be paid for in advance at
current engineering labor rates.
_ No pad mounted transformer shall be located in front of a door or window of any building,
or beneath a fire escape, or adjacent to fire escapes ground line exit, or under any
overhang.
A All property pins along the course of the electric extension must be in place for install-
ation of electric facilities.
_ Where customer backfills next to the buildings and the transformer and/or switch cabinet
pad(s) are to be positioned upon this fill , the fill is to be compacted by the customer to
at least equal the undisturbed original earth prior to installation of PSCO facilities.
All buried utilities should have construction scheduled by the customer so that the deepest

s installed first, the next to the deepest installed second, .and so on to decrease possibl
damage by other utilities. Water and sewer services stubs must clear rear line of front
lot utility easements in case of front lot construction
Customer must furnish a copy of the approved final recorded plat (stamped with reception
number, date recorded, etc.) before the order to install facilities will be released
for construction.

Developer will be required to install his own underground service loop.
_ Developer will be required to furnish and install a CT and PT cabinet for metering.
Transformers and switch cabinets located in vehicular traffic areas on private
property will require steel protective posts. These are to be 7' long, 4" in
diameter, set 3' deep in concrete, and filled with concrete. These are to be
furnished, installed, and maintained by the customer, and so positioned as to
not interfere with the door operations for the equipment.
Customer must provide necessary easements for installation and maintenance of
electric lines and equipment at no cost to PSCO. ' Remarks: .
_ Customer must provide concrete pad for transformer support at no cost to PSCO.

?( PSCO refuses liability for damage to customer-owned/privately-owned underground
utility lines (including sprinkler lines) unless such lines are accurately located
and marked in the field by the owner prior to construction.
In cases of rear lot electric distribution facilities, meter must be installed on
front 1/3 of side wall of house or customer must provide and'install weather proof
box and cover and conduit and interconnect wire for remote dial .
