RE: DECLARE CERTAIN EQUIPMENT AS SURPLUS AND AUTHORIZE CHAIRMAN
TO SIGN NECESSARY TITLES
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter , is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has authorized an
equipment sale to be held on October 18 , 1986 , and
WHEREAS, the Accounting Department has identified , on Exhibit
"A" , the pieces of equipment no longer needed by Weld County and
recommended to be sold, a copy of said Exhibit "A" is attached
hereto and incorporated herein by reference , and
WHEREAS, State statute and the Weld County Administrative
Manual require that all items disposed of be declared surplus by
the Board of County Commissioners.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the equipment listed
on Exhibit "A" be , and hereby is , declared surplus property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Board hereby authorizes the
sale of all items listed on Exhibit "A" at the equipment auction
to be held October 18 , 1986.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chairman be, and
hereby is, authorized to sign necessary Titles for said equipment.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 15th day of
October, A.D. , 1986 .
