RE: DECLARE CERTAIN EQUIPMENT AS SURPLUS PROPERTY
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the County has identified that a 1984 Chevrolet
1/2-ton pickup is no longer operable due to an accident and the
insurance company of the party at fault wishes to settle the loss
claim by paying the County $4,375.00, and
WHEREAS, State statute and the Weld County Administrative
Manual require that all items disposed of be declared surplus by
the Board of County Commissioners.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, hereby declares the 1984
Chevrolet 1/2-ton pickup with VIN No. IGCBS14A9E8240121 as surplus
property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Board hereby authorizes the
settlement of $4,375. 00 from State Farm Insurance Company for the
damage to the hereinabove described vehicle.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 17th day of
August, A.D. , 1987.
