The assessed valuation for the real estate taxes for this year was $499,610.00, and the taxes assessed were $40,241.00. This assessment was done on the basis of the "best information available". The total production, including royalty, paid during 1983 was $207,101.00, so the valuation should have been $181,213.00, which would have resulted in taxes due of about $14,614.00. The Monthly Pro- duction Reports, as filed with the State of Colorado Oil and Gas Conservation Commission, for this well are attached.
