RESOLUTION
RE: APPOINTMENT OF LYNN BROWN TO THE WELD COUNTY PLANNING
COMMISSION
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, a vacancy currently exists on the Weld County
Planning Commission due to the resignation of Sharon Linhart, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioner deems it advisable
to appoint Lynn Brown to said Planning Commission for a term
commencing September 11 , 1985 , and ending July 31 , 1986 .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that Lynn Brown be, and
hereby is, appointed to the Weld County Planning Commission for a
term to commence September 11 , 1985 , and expire July 31 , 1986 .
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 9th day of
September, A.D. , 1985 .

Planning Commission
Lynn Brown - Lynn has been appointed to the Planning Commission. Lynn will
represent Dist. 3. She is replacing the position formally held by
Sharron Linhart. Her term of office will begin on September 11, 1985
and will expire on July 31, 1986.

Dear Jackie :
I regret that I must resign from the Weld
County Planning Commission and the Private
Industry Council . My resignation should
take effect on September 9 , 1985 when I
will begin a new job in Denver .
It has been an honor and a truly educational
experience for me to serve on both of these
boards and I wish to thank you and the
other commissioners for your confidence
in me . While I regret leaving an unfulfilled
term, I am certainly grateful for the time
I was able to spend. The county staff is
exemplary and the other volunteers with
whom I served are dedicated and enthusiastic .
Fortunately, I will continue to live in Weld
County and will follow Weld County issues and
activities closely. I wish you all the best !
