Approximately 10 acres were affected during 1987. 2. Grading and reclamation continues as we remove the gravel. We have probably have worked an additional 10 acres for the purpose of final grading. 3. We have seeded in accordance with the U. S. Dept. of Agriculture Soil Conservation Service letter dated November 27, 1984, (copy attached). 4. We estimate ten (10) additional acres will be affected during 1988. We are in the process of developing our first recreational lake facility. This lake must be at least .4 of a mile long and .2 of a mile wide. A lake this size, of course, involves substantial amounts of gravel removal and topsoil replacement. We have, therefore, been working toward this end result; however, due to the magnitude of the area involved, nothing has been totally reclaimed. We have placed soils in strategic places to permit this reclamation; however, until all of the materials are extracted, these stockpiles must remain in place. New areas which are finished in grade will be revegetated. X16)4 pLI023 December 8, 1987 Page 2 Permit M-82-015 Since our January 30, 1987 report, we have made many strides toward finalizing our over-all golf course and residential design criteria. The firms involved are: George Vranesh, Water Attorney THK Associates Richard Phelps, Architect Nelson Engineers, Mr. Vern Nelson We are enclosing a preliminary golf course and residential plan prepared by THK Associates along with Richard Phelps, Architect. This will give you an over-all view of our long term plan. I am certain there will be various modifications; however, this preliminary plan will generally be followed as closely as practical. We estimate it will be several more years before all of the gravel within the boundaries of our reclamation plan is excavated. Economic conditions may delay the total development for several years; nevertheless, this plan will be our ultimate goal. Please advise if you have any questions. Sincerely, SIEGRIST CONSTRUCTION CO.
