RE: APPROVE INSTALLATION OF "STOP AHEAD" AND "STOP" SIGNS AT THE
INTERSECTION OF WELD COUNTY ROAD 8 AND WELD COUNTY ROAD 19
WHEREAS , the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Department of Engineering has
recommended to the Board that "Stop Ahead" and "Stop" signs be
installed to control eastbound traffic on Weld County Road 8 at
its intersection with Weld County Road 19 , and
WHEREAS , upon recommendation of the Department of
Engineering, the Board has determined that said traffic control
devices are necessary for the protection of the general public.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the Department of
Engineering be , and hereby is , directed to install "Stop Ahead"
and "Stop" signs to control eastbound traffic on Weld County Road
8 at its intersection with Weld County Road 19 , said signs must
conform to the State manual and specifications and are for the
safety of the general public.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded , adopted by the following vote on the 10th day of
March, A.D. , 1986 .

March 10, 1986 - Agenda - for Board consideration
A request for a traffic control device (Stop Sign) at the intersection
of CR 8 and 19 is submitted by the Road and Bridge Department for
consideration and action by the Board. The attached map shows the
proposed placement of the sign and road structure.
