RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS TO PLATTE VALLEY PEST CONTROL DISTRICT
ADVISORY BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Platte Valley Pest
Control District Advisory Board, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Pest and Weed Department has
recommended that Clyde Abbett and George Stieber be appointed to
said Board, replacing William Berig and W.A. Dersham, and
WHEREAS , upon recommendation of the Pest and Weed Department,
the Board desires to appoint the above named individuals .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that Clyde Abbett and
George Stieber be, and hereby are, appointed to the Platte Valley
Pest Control District Advisory Board.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 23rd day of
November, A.D. , 1987 .

Dear Weld County Commissioners:
Two members of the Platte Valley Pest Control District Advisory Board
need to be replaced, due to either their death or nonactivity with the
Board. Their names and addresses are as follows:
William Berig W. A. Dersham

LaSalle, CO 80645 Brighton, CO 80601
The Platte Valley District Advisory Board has had only four (4)
Board Members in the past. I would eventually like to see five (5)
members on this Advisory Board, as there are on the other seven (7)
weed districts and four (4) grasshopper district advisory boards.
For now, I am just asking to replace the two (2) Board Members listed above.
I would like to request that the two (2) people listed below replace
the Board Members listed above. On suggestion by the two (2) remaining
Advisory Board Members. I contacted each person listed below and each
said they would serve on the Board at the Commissioners pleasure. Their
names and addresses are as follows:
