HomeMy WebLinkAbout850740.tiff RESOLUTION RE: GRANT MOBILE HOME PERMIT NO. 1004 - ERNEST AND MARY CALVO WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, on the 17th day of April, 1985 , considered the request of Ernest and Mary Calvo for one mobile home to be used beyond six months for temporary storage, and WHEREAS, ZPMH #870 was staff issued on April 14 , 1984 , and expired on October 14 , 1984 , and WHEREAS, Ernest and Mary Calvo must obtain a zoning permit from the Board for an additional six months, and WHEREAS, said mobile home is to be of land being utilized in an more A-Agricultural Zone District on a par particularly described as follows: Lot A, Tract 12 , Aristocrat Ranchettes Subdivision, Weld County, Colorado WHEREAS , the Board of County Commissioners , having heard the testimony, finds that said request should be granted. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the request of Ernest and Mary Calvo for one mobile home to be usedbeyond six months for temporary storage be, and hereby is, granted. Legal Description of Parcel: Lot 12, Aristocrat Ranchettes Subdivision. Location: Two (2) miles northeast of Fort Ro Lupton, south of Weld County Road 18 and east of Weld County 31. The Departent of lanning rvices staff reviewed this recommends that the Prequest be e approved for the following request and following reasons: WILL WILL NOT X Be compatible with the Weld County Comprehensive Plan. X , Be compatible with the surrounding area. X Be in harmony with the character of the neighborhood. X Adversely affect the immediate area. X Adversely affect the general health, safety and welfare of the inhabitants of the area and the County. COMMENTS: This case is a result of VI-601:85:49. The original permit, ZPMH-870 was staff-issued on April 14, 1984. This permit expired October 14, 1984. A six-month extension of this use granted by the Board of County Commissioners would leave the applicants in violation. Therefore, because Mr. & Mrs. Calvo have acted in good faith to Tereceived ve this no viobjections olation and tothis the Department of Planning Services has application, the staff recommends that the zoning permit be extended to six months from the date of this hearing.
