RE: APPROVE CONTINUANCE OF HEARING TO CONSIDER REQUEST OF CECIL
W. KING FOR A CHANGE OF ZONE FROM A (AGRICULTURAL) TO P.U.D.
(PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT) WITH R-1 (LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL)
USES
WHEREAS , the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on the 15th day of July,
1987 , at 2 : 00 p.m. for the purpose of hearing the application of
Cecil W. King, 4707 Weld County Road 29 , Fort Lupton, Colorado
80621 , requesting a Change of Zone from A (Agricultural) to P.U.D .
(Planned Unit Development) with R-1 (Low Density Residential) uses
for a parcel of land located on the following described real
estate, to-wit:
Part of the SEI SEI Section 9 , Township 1
North, Range 66 West of the 6th P.M. , Weld
County, Colorado
WHEREAS, Section 28 .4 . 1 of the Weld County Zoning Ordinance
provides standards for review of such Change of Zone, and
WHEREAS , the applicant was present, but his representative,
who is to provide the additional information concerning the
proposed water supply and roads requested by the Board was not
present, and
WHEREAS , the Board deemed it advisable to continue this
hearing to August 26 , 1987 , at 2 : 00 p.m. , at which time said
information must be available.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the hearing to
consider the application of Cecil W. King for a Change of Zone
from A (Agricultural) to P.U.D. (Planned Unit Development) with
R-1 (Low Density Residential) uses be, and hereby is, continued to
August 26 , 1987 , at 2 : 00 p.m. , at which time information
concerning the proposed water supply and roads must be presented
to the Board.

DEVELOPMENT) , R-1 (LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL) - CECIL W. KING
A public hearing was conducted on July 15, 1987, at 2:00 P.M. , with the
following present:
Commissioner Gordon E. Lacy, Chairman
Commissioner C.W. Kirby, Pro-Tem
Commissioner Gene Brantner
Commissioner Jacqueline Johnson
Commissioner Frank Yamaguchi
Also present:
Acting Clerk to the Board, Mary Reiff
Assistant County Attorney, Lee D. Morrison
Planning Department representative, Rod Allison
The following business was transacted:
I hereby certify that pursuant to a notice dated March 23, 1987, and
duly published April 2, 1987, in the Johnstown Breeze, a public hearing
was conducted to consider the request of Cecil W. King for a Change of
Zone from A (Agricultural) to P.U.D. (Planned Unit Development) . Lee
Morrison, Assistant County Attorney, made this matter of record and
said this hearing was continued from May 13. Rod Allison, Planning
Department representative, said the matter was continued to allow the
applicant to provide further information regarding the availability of
water and roads. Cecil W. King, the applicant, came forward and said
his representative was not present and he did not have any further
information. Isabel Fridinger, 1/3 owner of the property, also came
forward and stated that it was difficult to present information with
their representative not present. After discussion, Commissioner Kirby
moved to continue this matter to August 26, at 2:00 p.m. , with conplete
information concerning water and roads in the area to be available at
that time. The motion was seconded by Commissioner Yamaguchi and
carried unanimously.
This Certification was approved on the 20th day of July, 1987.
