As discussed, Milliken Sanitation is tentatively planning a bond election for December 6 , 1988 . If the election is passed they will want to certify and levy property taxes to pay debt service. We anticipate the levy amount to be approximately $29 ,000 . Immediately following the election the District will notify you of the exact amount of the levy. We understand they have until December 15 , 1988 to make this notice for taxes to be collected in 1989. Inasmuch as the District has not established the exact amount of the bond issue and is still exploring other methods of financing, they would appreciate any dicussions of the possible election be held to a minimum.
