RE: PURCHASE OF USED STEEL FROM DYER CONSTRUCTION COMPANY
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, The Weld County Purchasing Policies and Procedures
require that all used property be purchased by Board Resolution,
and
WHEREAS, the Board has been advised that Dyer Construction
Company, of Parker, Colorado, has offered to sell 47 long I-Beams
and 14 short I-Beams, which Weld County is in need of, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Engineering has recommended the
purchase of said I-Beams for the amount of $7 ,000.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, hereby authorizes the
purchase of 47 used long I-Beams and 14 used short I-Beams from
Dyer Construction Company, in the amount of $7,000 .
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 24th day of
October, A.D. , 1988.
