Dave Ross - Commercial Design, Inc. Items Discussed: 1. It was brought to everyones attention, that no lag time is allowed in this project. If an activity is scheduled to be completed on a certain day, the contractor must react immediately. Because of long lead delivery of some items for the juvenile detention area, it will require all contractors to work together and around this delivery schedule. The problem should not occur on other phases of the project. 2. The mason is scheduled to start work on Thursday, March 28, 1985. The mason will be allowed to set up on the 10th, on the sidewalk close to the West entry door. The sidewalks and walls around the mixing area are required to be protected and daily clean-up is a must. A four foot walkway to the edge of the sidewalk will be required for pedestrian traffic. 850 991 2424 6th Avenue cce-7 Phone (303) 356-3611 ,4- -e' 4/► s Minutes of Subcontractor Meeting March 26, 1985 3. The toilet fixture brackets required for installation in the masonry walls should arrive by Wednesday, April 3, 1985. 4. Two additional doors will be required. 1) From the lobby into vestibule 116 2) From vestibule 116 into counseling 114 Frames not scheduled to be reused from the demolition will try to be implemented. 5. Tie in to existing water lines has been a problem, since not all water lines can be isolated and shut off. It was decided that all tie ins will be identified and the main water will be shut off. All tie ins will be made in one day. Captain Metzger will require at least 12 hours prior notice of this shut down. 6. The toilet in room 209 on the second floor, scheduled to be removed, will be capped and removed during this phase of the work. 7. All smoke detectors and duct detectors will be removed and stored at the start of each phase. This will aleviate any damage to these devices and allow them to be reused, rather than replaced. 8. All conduit runs that are required to be rerouted will be turned down through the floor, and into a junction box above the false ceiling below. The floor in these places will be patched with concrete. The patched area will be required to be sealed. 9. Because of the possibility of live conduit in the topping slab, it is suggested that the concrete be chipped away by hand before core drilling for plumbing drains. 10. It was brought up that some of the existing duct work is either damaged, or the taped fittings are comming loose. It was decided that any existing damage found by any trade should be identified so we may bring it to the owners attention for possible repair by change order. It will be more cost effective to make repairs during the remodel phase, than to correct them at a later date. The meeting was adjourned at 1:45 P.M. Alt: David M.
