RE: GRANT REQUEST OF THE WELD COUNTY SHERIFF' S OFFICE FOR
CONVERSION OF PROPERTY
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Sheriff' s Office has presented a
request for conversion of property held by their office which is
unclaimed, abandoned, or lost, and for which a reasonable
inquiry has been made to identify and notify the rightful owner.
Despite such efforts, the rightful owner cannot be identified or
located, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Ordinance No. 28 , Section 11 , the Weld
County Sheriff has requested official conversion of an
uncompleted utility trailer for use by the Weld County Sheriff' s
Office to carry out normal duties and responsibilities , and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners deems it
advisable to grant said request.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the request of the
Weld County Sheriff' s Office for conversion of the uncompleted
utility trailer for use by the Weld County Sheriff' s Office be ,
and hereby is, granted.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded , adopted by the following vote on the 27th day of
April, A.D. , 1987 .

I am requesting permission to convert the following items to the
Weld County Sheriff's Office use per Weld County Ordinance 28,
Section 8a.
1. Uncompleted utility trailer, approximately 10' X 6' , with
wheels and tires, red primer color, no tail lights, no
serial number.
