RE: APPROVE PURCHASE OF ROCK CRUSHER AND GENERATOR FROM H.W.
MOORE EQUIPMENT COMPANY
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, after receiving proposals from various vendors, the
Board did, by Resolution dated April 7 , 1986 , approve a 30-day
Lease Agreement with H.W. Moore Equipment Company, of Denver, for
a rock crusher described as an ElJay, Model 1213 Plant, Serial
Number 42G0184 , and a generator described as Cat Gen Set, Serial
Number 48BH4546 , and
WHEREAS, said Lease Agreement contained a provision for the
purchase of said items by Weld County, and
WHEREAS, after review and upon the recommendation of the Road
and Bridge Department, the Board deems it in the best interest of
Weld County to purchase the aforementioned rock crusher and
generator.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the purchase of the
hereinabove described rock crusher and generator from H.W. Moore
Equipment Company be, and hereby is, approved.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 7th day of May,

RE: One Used CAT 3406 PC Engine and Gen Set
Serial No. 90U8245 and 48BH4546
Dear Don:
With reference to the above-mentioned unit, the following terms and
conditions will apply:
1. Purchase price of the unit will be $16,500.00.

2. Rentals paid will be deducted from the purchase price
with interest charged at 1% of the purchase price per
month for the time the unit has been on rent.
3. H. W. Moore agrees to repair the radiator, water pump,
and control switches on the unit.
4. Estimated cost for removing the Gen Set from H. W. Moore's
van and installing in Weld County's van will be 10 - 15 hours
at $32.00 per hour (includes mounting Gen Set and battery box,
drill and mount exhaust stack, and cutting floor drain) . Cost
to be paid by Weld County.
5. Weld County will deliver the old van and new van to H. W. Moore's
shop in Commerce City so that the above-mentioned repairs can be
made. When work is completed, H. W. Moore will deliver the
Gen Set and van to Weld County's job site.
