On motion duly made and seconded, it was resolved that the Chairman of the Board of
County Commissioners be and hereby is authorized and directed to sign, for and on behalf of Weld
County, Colorado, the right of way easement, a copy of which is hereto attached and made a part
of this resolution, for electric service to the county property located at Gowanda.

AUTHORIZING COMPROMISE
SETTLEMENT OF WELD COUNTY
HOSPITAL ACCOUNT OF WAYNE W. COON:
Commissioner Warren offered the following resolution and moved its adoption:
WHEREAS, Mr. Wayne W. Coon was hospitalized during the period from August 16,1942 to
November 4,1942 in, the Wald County Hospital, and ,
WHEREAS, the amount of the hospital bill for such care was $229.62 on which a
payment of $109.00 was made by Mr. Coon on November 3,1942 leaving a balance due of $120.62, and ,
WHEREAS, said Wayne W. Coon has now removed from the State of Colorado and has
requested a compromise settlement of his account, in lieu of bankruptcy, as shown by the correspondence
now on file with the Weld County Hospital, and,
WHEREAS, after due consideration and deliberation of the conditions it is the opinion
of the Board of County Commissioners that payment of $75.00 by Mr. Coon in full settlement of the
account is acceptable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED and it is hereby authorized that $75.00 be accepted as
full settlement of the account of Wayne D. Coon for care at the Weld County Hospital.
The motion was duly seconded and the resolution adopted by the following vote :

WHEREAS, The Army Emergency Relief Office Headquarters has submitted an offer to pay
$1049.75 in full settlement of the account.

RESOLVED, that $1049.75 be and hereby is authorized to be accepted by said Weld County
Hospital as full settlement of the account of Charles Anderson, as herein shwon.

shall be issued upon the express condition and agreement that the place where licensee is authorized

APPOINTING COMMISSIONER TO
COI\VEY PROPERTY:
Commissioner Warren offered the following resolution and moved its adoption:
WHEREAS, Weld County, Colorado has acquired , by Treasurer ' s deed dated April 8,1940
and recorded in B ok 1063 at Page 79 in the records of the County Clerk & Recorder of Weld Courty,
Colorado, and is the owner of Lots 15 to 18, Block 8„Grover,
WHEREAS, said property, excepting therefrom the oil, gas and other minerals therein,
has been duly Edvertised for sale at a public auction held on April 25, 1944 at the hour of 10
o 'clock. A. M. , in the office of the Board of County Commissioners, and :
WHEREAS, at said sale, Mary L. Hobbs, Buckingham, Colorado bid $200. 00 as the purchase
price for said property and , being the highest and best bidder, said prorertyvas sold to said
Mary L. Hobbs.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, and it is hereby ordered that Harold H. Seaman, County
Treasurer of Weld County, Colorado, is hereby constituted and appointed as Commissioner of Weld
County, Colorado, to make a conveyance , by quit claim deed, of said property as aforesaid to said
Mary L. Hobbs which property is more particularly d -scribed as follwrs, to-wit :
Lots 15 to 18, Flock 8, Grover,
except reservations in favor of the Union Pacific Railroad Company and except reservations in the
Unitdd States Patent and reserving existing reservoir sites and irrigation ditches, if any, exist ng
rights of way for public highways and roads, and to any and all existing easements or rights of way
however evidenced or acquired , and subject to existing leases and reserving therefrom, to grantor,
all oil, gas and other minerals therein or thereunder.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED, that to such conveyance, the eaid Harold H. Seaman is authorized
to affix the seal of said County and said conveyance, when executed according to this order, shall
have the effect to transfer to said Mary L. Hobbs all right , title and interest which Weld County
has in and to the above described property, except only and subject to the exceptions and reservations
hereinabov- mentioned or referred to. The motion was adopted by the following vote :

WHEREAS, Weld County, Colorado has acquired, by Treasurer ' s deed dated April 8, 1940
and recorded in Book 1063 at Page 78 in the records of the County Clerk & Recorder of Weld County,
Colorado, and is the owner of Lot 11, Block 8, Grover, and ,
WHEREAS, said property, excepting only the oil, gas and other minerals therein, has
been duly advertised for sale at a public auction held on April 25, 1944 at the hour of 10 o'clock,
A. M. , in the office of the Board of County Commissioners, and :
WHEREAS, at said sale, A. Maris, Grover, Colorado bid $130.00 as the purchase price for
said property and , being the highest and best bidder, said property was sold to said A. 'aarils
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, and it is hereby ordered that Harold H. Seaman, County

the County Clerk & Recorder of Weld County, Colorado, and is the owner of L,ts 3 to 6, 9 to 12 and
17 to 24, Block 4, Gill, and,
WHEREAS, said property, excepting therefrom the oil, gas and other minerals therein,
has been duly advertised for sale at a public auction held on April 25, 1944 at the hour of 10 o'clock,
A. M. , in the office of the Foard of County Commissioners, and ,
WHEREAS, at said sale, Antonio Pineda, Gill, Colorado bid $565.00 as the purchase price
for said property and , being the highest and best bidder, said property was sold to said Antonio
Pineda.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, and it is hereby ordered that Harold H. Seaman, County
Treasurer of Weld County, Colorado, is hereby constituted and appointed as Commissioner of Weld
County. Colorado, to make a conveyance , by quit claim deed , of said property, as aforesaid , to said ,
Antonio Pineda which property is more particularly described as follows, to-wit :
Lots 3 to 6, 9 to 12, 17 to 24, Block 4, Gill
except reservatifons in favor of the Union Pacific Railroad Company and except reservations in the
