Re: USR-724:86:4 - Addition of three storage tanks for gas by-products.
Dear Ken:
Thank you for your letter of February 23. The staff has determined that the
requested changes are not considered a material deviation from what was
originally approved in the Use by Special Review permit. Your letter and a
copy of this letter will be filed with the Use by Special Review case for
informational purposes. The building permits that were being held, pending
a decision by the staff, have been issued.
If you have any questions, please call me.
Sincerely,
OlvaS a...-,C114_,

Re: U.S.R. 724: 86: 4
(TOA American Gas Products)
Dear Mr . Cunliffe:
Please let this letter serve as a request for a minor
revision to the approved U . S . R . plat map . Specifically , the
request is to add 3 small capacity storage tanks to hold
additional gas by-products . The reason for this request is ( 1 )
experience at the plant has indicated that the gas is "wetter"
than contemplated therefore .necessitating some storage ; ( 2) some
gas products were being lost during operations and that lost gas
can be stored ; ( 3 ) the original plan was to store the gas
by-products in barrels but due to the increased volume, larger
capacity storage tanks are necessary.
The 3 proposed small storage structures are identified on
the attached copy of the final P.U.D. map and identified as 1 , 2
and 3 . Number 1 is a 500 gallon propane storage tank located on
the Northwest corner of the processing skid. Number 2 is a 1 , 000
gallon methanol tank to be placed on the Northeast corner of the
processing skid, and Number 3 is a 500 gallon glycol tank to be
located on the Southeast corner of the glycol skid . These 3
tanks are almost identical to typical residential propane storage
tanks which usually are of a capacity between 500 and 1 , 000
gallons. The same do not present any additional fire or safety
risks and will be totally compatible with the existing site plan .
We would request your immediate review of this proposal as
the necessity for these 3 tanks is great . We would like to
proceed as quickly as possible with building permits to install
the same . Thank you very much for your consideration and
attention in this matter.
Very truly yours ,
