RE: ACCEPTANCE OF DONATION OF $200 TO WELD COUNTY SHERIFF' S
OFFICE BY AMOCO PRODUCTION COMPANY
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, Amoco Production Company has donated two hundred
dollars ($200 .00) to the Weld County Sheriff' s Office, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that said donation be
designated for safety equipment to be used by technical personnel,
and
WHEREAS, it is the policy of Weld County to formally accept
all donations via Resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the donation of
$200 .00 by Amoco Production Company be, and hereby is, accepted
and designated for safety equipment.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that a copy of this
Resolution, along with a letter of appreciation, be forwarded to
Amoco Production Company, P.O. Box 39200 , Denver, Colorado 80239 .
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 25th day of
September, A.D. ,� 1985 .

Each year, Amoco Production donates $200. to the Weld County Sheriff's
Office to be used toward equipment or other items needed to perform our
service. This is done to fulfill Amoco's company philosophy of corporate
responsibility to the community in areas where their facilities are located.
I am forwarding the contribution to you so the donation can be accepted by
the Board of Commissioners. I would also request the money be
supplementally appropriated for safety equipment to be used by technical
personnel such as our bomb technician.
