RE: APPROVE GRANTING PERMANENT EASEMENT TO SCHOOL DISTRICT 6 AND
AUTHORIZE CHAIRMAN TO SIGN LETTER
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS , the Board has been presented with a request to grant
a Permanent Easement to School District 6, and
WHEREAS, said Permanent Easement is for approximately 18
square feet located in the extreme northeast corner of Weld
County' s property which fronts on 2nd Street in Greeley, Colorado,
and
WHEREAS, after study and review, the Board deems it advisable
to authorize the Chairman to sign a Letter granting said Permanent
Easement, a copy being attached hereto and incorporated herein by
reference.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the Permanent
Easement to School District 6 be, and hereby is, granted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chairman be, and
hereby is, authorized to sign said Letter.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 13th day of
September, A.D. , 1989.

RE: Use of County Property by School District 6
Dear Mr. Bisel:
Pursuant to your letter dated September 6, 1989, addressed to Don Warden,
Director of Finance for Weld County, Colorado, you have asked for use of a
small portion of Weld County property for public access to property owned by
School District 6. The Weld County property is approximately 18 square feet
in size and is located in the extreme northeast corner of the County's
property which fronts on 2nd Street in Greeley, Colorado. The subject
property is shown in yellow on the attached plat map.
This letter shall act as a grant of a permanent easement by Weld County to
School District 6 for public access across said 18 square feet of property.
The easement is for the benefit of and is appurtenant to that land owned by
School District 6 which fronts on 2nd Street in Greeley, Colorado, and which
is directly adjacent to the property owned by Weld County which is mentioned
above.

Subject: School District Use of County Property
Dear Don:
This letter and enclosed plan of the District's proposed access to Second Street is to
confirm your telephone conversation with John Nail, of District Six, on August 31,
1989. In that conversation, you indicated that the county would accept the School
District's use of the county property (approximately 18 sq. ft.) as indicated on the
enclosed plan.
If this proposed access to Second Street and use of County Property is acceptable
to the County, please notify me in writing as soon as possible.
