RESOLUTION
RE: APPROVE DISMISSAL OF SHOW CAUSE HEARING - HIGH COUNTY TURF
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, on the 8th day of November, 1989 , a public hearing
was held to consider revocation of Use by Special Review #498 ,
granted to High County Turf, and
WHEREAS, the Board was advised by the Planning staff the
annexation of property described as the SW* and part of the SE} of
Section 26 , Township 2 North, Range 68 West of the 6th P.M. to the
Town of Frederick was recorded on November 3, 1989 , and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deemed it advisable that
said hearing be dismissed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the Show Cause
Hearing for High County Turf be, and hereby is, dismissed.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 8th day of
November, A.D. , 1989 .

A public hearing was conducted on November 8, 1989, at 10:00 A.M. , with
the following present:
Commissioner C.W. Kirby, Chairman - Excused
Commissioner Gene R. Brantner, Pro-Tem
Commissioner Constance L. Harbert
Commissioner George Kennedy
Commissioner Gordon E. Lacy
Also present:
Acting Clerk to the Board, Mary Reiff
Assistant County Attorney, Lee D. Morrison
Planning Department representative, Keith Schuett
The following business was transacted:
I hereby certify that a public hearing was conducted to show cause for
revocation of Use by Special Review #498, issued to High Country Turf.
Lee Morrison, Assistant County Attorney, made this matter of record,
noting that this hearing was continued to this date from June 12, 1989,
due to the pending application for annexation of this property into the
Town of Frederick. Keith Schuett, Planning Department representative,
advised the Board that the annexation of this property into the Town of
Frederick was recorded on November 3, 1989, and the Planning Staff
recommends that this case be dismissed. Commissioner Lacy moved to
dismiss this matter as recommended. The motion, seconded by
Commissioner Kennedy, carried unanimously.
This Certification was approved on the 13th day of November, 1989.
