RE: APPROVE ACTION OF BOARD CONCERNING REQUEST FROM MARIA
ZAMARRIPA, ON BEHALF OF MARY GOMEZ , TO VACATE CERTAIN
RIGHT-OF-WAY
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has received a request from Maria
Zamarripa , on behalf of Mary Gomez , to vacate a portion of
right-of-way on property described as Lot 21, Johnstown Colony,
being a part of the NW*NW$ , Section 9 , Township 4 North, Range 67
West of the 6th P.M. , Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to refer said request
to the County Attorney' s Office for its recommendation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the request from
Maria Zamarripa, on behalf of Mary Gomez , to vacate a certain
portion of right-of-way be, and hereby is, referred to the County
Attorney's Office for its recommendation.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 13th day of
June, A.D. , 1988 .

Dear Sirs; ,
I am the owner of lot 21 of the Johnstown Colony, Weld County Colorado.
I have a right of way next to the north side of my lot which would be the
extension of Chavez, East of Mestas. The right of way has never been used
for traffic & I have been taking care of the property for 45 years. The
right of way is not needed for acess to other properties. I am requesting
that the Board consider vacating the right of way.
The Legal description of my property is as follows:
