RE: ACCEPT STATEMENT OF PURPOSES OF BRIGHTON FIRE PROTECTION
DISTRICT AND AUTHORIZE CHAIRMAN TO SIGN
WHEREAS , the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS , pursuant to Section 32-1-208 , CRS , the Brighton Fire
Protection District has presented the Board with a Statement of
Purposes , a copy of said Statement being attached hereto and
incorporated herein by reference , and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to accept
said Statement of Purposes and authorize the Chairman to sign
same.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the Statement of
Purposes of the Brighton Fire Protection District be, and hereby
is , accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chairman be, and
hereby is , authorized to sign said Statement of Purposes.
The above and foregoing Resolution was , on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 21st day of
May, A.D. , 1986 .

STATEMENT OF PURPOSES OF
BRIGHTON FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT
In accordance with C.R.S. 32-1-208 , this STATEMENT OF
PURPOSES OF BRIGHTON FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT is hereby filed
with the Board of County Commissioners of each County and the
governing body of each municipality which has territory included
within the boundaries of the District.
1 . The purposes for which this District was organized:
This District was organized for the purpose of providing fire
protection and fire prevention services.
2 . The services and facilities provided, or to be pro-
vided by the Special District: Since the date of organization,
November 20, 1961, the District has provided continuous fire
protection and fire prevention services to the District from fire
station facilities constructed and in existence and hereafter to
be constructed by the District. The District may provide an
ambulance service, an emergency medical service, a rescue unit
and a diving and grappling service as same are authorized by
statute.
3 . The area served by the District is: A map is attached
showing the area of the District, and also a legal description of
the District.
