Secretary held at the Hilton Hotel , 743 Horizon Drive, Grand Junction, star-
ting al 8:00 a.m. , Friday, November 8, 1985. The third session
will be held on November 18, 1985, Monday, 8:00 a.m. at The
Clarion, 2886 South Circle Drive, Colorado Springs.
Counties with common interests or from the same areas are urged to con-
solidate their information and make one presentation as a time saving measure
and as a means of affording the broadest representation. We ask that each
county notify all cities and interested entities in its jurisdiction of the
approaching meeting dates.
This year, you are again requested to complete a DOH Form 507 for each
project you will be recommending. A copy of the form is attached. Contact
the District Engineer in your area for needed assistance in completing these
forms. Two copies for each project should be submitted to the Highway Com-
mission Secretary at the time of your presentation.
This year, you are also being asked to review the draft of the "Forecast
of the Year 2001 Highway System. " Please be prepared to present any comments
you have on this document during your appearance at the hearings.
As in previous years, the Commission is interested in hearing from all
counties during the established schedule. Requests for dates and times
should be made now to the Highway Commission Secretary (address above) to
insure the time you desire will be available. All appointments will be
confirmed by letter.
