Department of Planning Services will review the materials to determine if
your proposal is a material deviation from the approved Special Use Permit.
I anticipate the review process to take approximately 2 to 3 weeks.
If any additional information is needed to expedite the staff's review, I

Dear Mr. Duckworth:
Thank you for your letter of March 7. Our staff does not feel your proposal
is a material deviation from the plans or development standards as approved
by the Board of County Commissioners on April 22, 1981. Prior to beginning
excavation or construction, you will need to call Mr. Bob Huffman with the
Building Inspection Department to determine if any building or electrical
permits will be required.

Subject: Proposal for Weld County Disposal
We have reviewed the proposed work to be under taken at Weld County
Disposal. These are things that would improve the operation, bring it
further into compliance with the SUP and have no negative effect on the
facility.
We have encouraged the operator of the facility to make the dike a
complete and consistant emergency barrier as shown on the plat for
retention. This work would construct a barrier as shown on the plat.
The aeration system is a part of the plat and the plan of operation to
be installed at the option of the operator. The construction of a slab
along the existing slab will further protect the site from spilled
liquids percolating into the ground water table.
We strongly recommend the approval of these improvements and remain
convinced that they are not a significant change in the operation plans.
