RESOLUTION
RE: APPROVE ACTION OF BOARD CONCERNING REQUEST OF WILLIAM
BOHLENDER, ON BEHALF OF JERRE LARGENT, FOR WAIVER OF A ZONING
REQUIREMENT
WHEREAS , the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, on March 2 , 1988 , the Board referred a request from
William Bohlender, Attorney representing Jerre F. Largent, for
waiver of a zoning requirement, to the Department of Planning
Services for its review and recommendation, and
WHEREAS, at the Board meeting of March 21 , the Department of
Planning Services recommended that, in order to resolve the
matter, the request for said waiver be denied, but the Board
should direct the Department of Planning Services to initiate
rezoning of the property under consideration.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the request of
William Bohlender, Attorney representing Jerre F. Largent, for
waiver of a zoning requirement be, and hereby is, denied.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Planning
Department be, and hereby is, directed to initiate a Change of
Zone for said property.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 21st day of
March, A.D. , 1988 .

rezoning.
The Department of Planning Services recommends that the request from Jerre
Largent to waive zoning requirements be denied. The procedure to resolve
this matter would be to change the zoning classification on the property
from R-1 (Low Density Residential) to R-2 (Duplex Residential) . The
Department would recommend that the Board direct the Planning Department to
initiate a rezoning on that portion of the property where the duplex is
located to allow it as a permitted use in an R-2 (Duplex Residential) zone
district.
