RE: APPROVE CONTINUANCE OF HEARING TO CONSIDER REQUEST OF CECIL
W. KING FOR A CHANGE OF ZONE FROM A (AGRICULTURAL) TO P.U.D.
(PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT) WITH R-1 (LOW DENSITY RESIDENTIAL)
USES - CECIL W. KING
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on the 26th day of August,
1987 , at 2 : 00 p.m. for the purpose of hearing the application of
Cecil W. King, 4707 Weld County Road 29 , Fort Lupton, Colorado,
80621 , requesting a Change of Zone from A (Agricultural) to P.U.D.
(Planned Unit Development) with R-1 (Low Density Residential) uses
for a parcel of land located on the following described real
estate, to-wit:
Part of the SEI SEI , Section 9 , Township 1
North, Range 66 West of the 6th P.M. , Weld
County, Colorado
WHEREAS, only three Commissioners being present at said
hearing, the applicant requested a continuance , and
WHEREAS, the Board deemed it advisable to continue this
hearing to September 16 , 1987 , at 2 : 00 p.m.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the hearing to
consider the application of Cecil W. King for a Change of Zone
from A (Agricultural) to P.U.D. (Planned Unit Development) with
R-1 (Low Density Residential) uses be, and hereby is, continued to
September 16 , 1987 , at 2 : 00 p.m.

The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 26th day of

A public hearing was conducted on August 26, 1987, at 2:00 P.M. , with
the following present:
Commissioner Gordon E. Lacy, Chairman
Commissioner C.W. Kirby, Pro-Tem
Commissioner Gene Brantner - Excused
Commissioner Jacqueline Johnson
Commissioner Frank Yamaguchi - Excused
Also present:
Acting Clerk to the Board, Mary Reiff
Assistant County Attorney, Bruce T. Barker
Planning Department representative, Rod Allison
The following business was transacted:
I hereby certify that pursuant to a notice dated March 23, 1987, and
duly published April 2, 1987, in the Johnstown Breeze, a public hearing
was conducted to consider the request of Cecil W. King for a Change of
Zone from A (Agricultural) to P.U.D. (Planned Unit Development) , R-1
(Low Density Residential) . Chairman Lacy said that Mr. King had been
informed that only three Commissioners would be present today and he
had indicated that he wished to have this hearing continued to a time
when more Commissioners will be present. Commissioner Johnson moved to
continue this matter until September 16, 1987, at 2:00 P.M. The
motion, seconded by Commissioner Kirby, carried unanimously.
This Certification was approved on the 31st day of August, 1987.
