RE: APPROVAL OF AMENDMENT TO COOPERATIVE REIMBURSEMENT AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE WELD COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL SERVICES AND THE
WELD COUNTY ATTORNEY'S OFFICE
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board did, on the 13th day of November, 1984 ,
approve a Cooperative Reimbursement Agreement between the Weld
County Department of Social Services and the Weld County
Attorney' s Office, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Department of Social Services has
presented the Board with an Amendment to said Agreement, a copy
being attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference, and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to
approve said Amendment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the Amendment to the
Cooperative Reimbursement Agreement between the Weld County
Department of Social Services and the Weld County Attorney' s
Office be, and hereby is, approved.
The above and foregoing Resolution was , on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 4th day of
September, A.D. , 1985 .

Subject: Attorney Service Contract Amendment
Tom,
Please find attached the Weld County Department of Social Service request to
amend the existing contract with the State for IV-D Attorney services from
the budgeted of $25,000 to $60,000. We are using considerably more attorney
hours than anticipated back at budget time. The amendment is necessary to
ensure 70% reimbursement from the State of Colorado. If you have any
questions please let me know. Otherwise request that after your review this
be submitted to our Board for their approval.
