RE: APPROVE PURCHASE OF USED GIRDERS FROM PARAMOUNT CONSTRUCTION,
INC.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Purchasing Policies and Procedures
require that all used property be purchased by Board Resolution,
and
WHEREAS, the Road and Bridge Department has recommended the
purchase of five W27 x 94 girders from Paramount Construction,
Inc. , for a total cost of $2 , 500 . 00 .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, hereby authorizes the
purchase of said girders from Paramount Construction, Inc. , for a
total cost of $2 ,500 .00 .
The above and foregoing Resolution was , on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 20th day of
March, A.D. , 1989 .

Per our conversation on 3-3-89 , Paramount Construction, Inc .
will sell to Weld County , 5 each W27 x 94 girders , (includes
2 each 42 lf, 1 each 44 lf , 1 each 46 lf , and 1 each 48 lf)
for a lump sum price of $ 2 , 500 .00. The girders are located
at the intersection of County Rd 21 and County Rd 56 ,
Larimer County , Colorado .
Weld County is to supply transportation from the jobsite
and Paramount Construction, Inc . will supply equipment to
load the beams .
If this offer is acceptable , the girders are available for
immediate pick up.
