RE: APPROVE AMENDMENT TO CONTRACT WITH CREATIVE STRUCTURES, INC. ,
CONCERNING BRIDGE 29/62B
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, on June 20 , 1988 , the Board did, by Resolution,
approve a Contract with Creative Structures, Inc. , concerning
Bridge 29/62B over the Cache La Poudre River, and
WHEREAS, the Engineering Department has recommended changes
to said Contract, in the additional amount of $262 .41 , as stated
on the copies being attached hereto and incorporated herein by
reference, and
WHEREAS, after study and review, the Board deems it advisable
to approve said Amendment to the Contract.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the Amendment to the
Contract with Creative Structures, Inc. , concerning Bridge 29/62B,
be, and hereby is, approved.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 11th day of
December, A.D. , 1989 .

SUPPLEMENTAL CONTRACT
By mutual agreement, Weld County and Creative Structures, Inc. hereby amend
the contract between these two entities dated June 27, 1988, for
engineering services necessary to replace the bridge on County Road 29
over the Cache La Poudre River, between County Road 62 and County
Road 64.
1. In Article IV, Section I, Paragraph A, change the "lump sum"
amount from $24,312.00 to $24,574.41.
• 2. In Article IV, Section I, Paragraph C, change the "Total
cost not to be exceeded without a supplemental contract"
amount from $25,392.00 to $25,654.41.

Gentlemen:
The enclosed statement and detail of work is being submitted to you for
additional compensation. It represents work performed subsequent to the
Final Office Review by the Department of Highways, your staff and completion
of final revisions by our firm.
The major portions of the work resulted from right—of—way negotiations with
the owners adjacent to the project and format changes from the Department
of Highways.
