IN TEE MATTER OF RESOLUTION
OPENING ROAD:
Commissioner Sanden offered the following resolution and
moved its adoption:
WHEREAS, a petition, signed by all the free holders
adjoining the proposed County Road to be opened between Sections
22 and 23, Township 6 North, Range 63 West; and between Sections
26 and 27, Township 6 North, Range 63 West, has been presented to
the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, and,
WHEREAS, it appears that the necessities of the public
require a County road as above described.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, and it is hereby ordered
that a County Road be laid out as follows, to wit:
Commencing at t the north corner common to Sections 22 and
23, running thence South along section line common to both Sections,
and Sections 27 and 26 to the South corner common to Said Sections
27 and 26, all in Township Six (6) North, Range Sixty-three (63) West
of the Sixth Principal Meridian, for a distance of approximately two miles.
The motion was seconded by Commissioner Warren and the
resolution adopted by the following vote:
AYES:

To the Honorable Board of County Commissioners of lkeld County, Colo.
GENTLEMEN:—Ns, the undersigned, Citizens of your County, respectfully represent that the necessities of the
high way
public require a County wan not to be laid out as follows,to-wit: Commencing at
The North corner common to Sections 22 and 23, running thence South along the section
line common to both said Sections, and Sections 27 and 26 to the South corner common
to said sections 27 and 26, all in Township Six (6) North, Range Sixty-three (63)

The undersigned is the sole and only owner of the lands adjoining said proposed County
Highway and owns all of the land on both sides of said proposed road.
Said road to be not less than sixty(60)feet in width.

We therefore petition your honorable body to cause to be laid out and opened a County/nal as above described, and
we, the owners of the land through which said road is sought to be laid out, in consideration of the sum of one dollar to us
each and severally in hand paid by the said Countyof N9J SJ , the receipt of

which is hereby acknowledged, and of the laying out and opening of said road, hereby agrees ive the right of way through

our lands as shown by the plat accompanying this petition, and relinquish all claims for damage by reason thereof.
