LeVere - Forward to George Kennedy ,Weld County Commissioner FROM: Trooper Edens SUBJECT: Request for "School Bus Stops Ahead " signing on WCR 47 between WCR 2 and Colorado 52 . On October 4, 1989 I investigated a traffic complaint near Hudson, Co. . The complainant ,Sharon Koger , of 1973 WCR 47 , advised me of heavy truck traffic on WCR 47 and that her phsically handicapped children ages 5 and 7 years , board two separate school buses daily. Some of the truck traffic does not realize the school buses also are in the area . I monitored the area and contacted one bus driver at the pickup point and determined that "Warning Signs" would make the area safer . Weld County Road 47 and 45 from Colorado 52 south, in the near future will handle more traffic due to the developmemt of the Denver Airport . -Pert e 1 OCT 10 1989 • • 89104 Hello
