RE: APPROVE PURCHASE OF CERTAIN GREELEY AND LOVELAND WATER RIGHTS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has received an offer whereby it may
purchase certain water rights, said rights consisting of two
shares of Greeley and Loveland Irrigation Company and one-quarter
right of Lake Loveland for a total price of $53,700, and
WHEREAS, after review and consideration, the Board deems it
advisable to accept said offer.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the purchase of
certain water rights as hereinabove described, be, and hereby is,
approved.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 6th day of
April, A.D. , 1988 .

Re: Offer to sell Greeley & Loveland Water Rights
Dear Mr. ; arden:
This letter will serve as an offer to sell the Water Rights
listed below to Weld County:
1 . Two(2) shares of Greeley & Loveland Irrigation
Company(Certificate #2210) .
2. One Quarter(*) Right of Lake Loveland(Contractfe75R) .
The price shall be cash on delivery of Slip Assignments and
payment on or before April 15 , 1988.
The offered price is :
1 . Two(2) shares of Greeley & Loveland $46,200.00
(66AF @ $700.00)
2. One Quarter(:) Right of Lake Loveland 7 , 500.00
(10AF C? 3750.00)
Total Purchase Price $53 ,700.00
The "Basic Agreement" with the City of Greeley applies to this
Water and therefore any purchase is subject to Greeley ! s first
opportunity to purchase within fufteen(15) days of any offer to
sell said Water.
I am agent for the owners ' and will handle the transaction and
payment according to their instructions.
