aBE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF WELD
o COUNTY, COLORADO:
a WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
w Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
O1 Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
o w affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and

0° U WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has the power and
z authority under the Weld County Home Rule Charter and State
Statute, including Article 28 of Title 30 , CRS, to adopt zoning
N E' regulations for the unincorporated areas of the County of Weld,

W WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
m w Colorado, has previously adopted Ordinance No. 89 , Weld County
Zoning Ordinance, establishing a comprehensive revision of the
N4 zoning regulations and zoning maps for the unincorporated areas of
o a the County of Weld, and has adopted amendments in Ordinances 89-A
C.)
through 89-0, and

rn o WHEREAS, said Ordinance No. 89 , as amended, is in need of
N °- revision and clarification with regard to procedures, terms, and
r' r" requirements therein.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that certain existing
sections of said Ordinance No. 89 , as amended, are repealed and
re-enacted, with amendments , and that various sections are added
or revised to read as follows :
Amend the ANIMAL UNIT definition by changing the first sentence to
read:
A term and number used to establish an equivalency for
various species of LIVESTOCK (e.g. , one cow is equivalent to
50 rabbits) .

as w 21 . 6 .5 The Board shall adopt, by Resolution, every five
years, an updated copy of the Official Weld County
Zoning Map which includes the rezonings approved
since the last update.
Add a new Section 24 . 9 to read:
24 .9 Changes to a Special Review Permit. Any approved
Special Review Permit shall be limited to the items
shown on the Special Review plan map and governed
by the DEVELOPMENT STANDARDS. Major changes from
the approved Special Review plan map or DEVELOPMENT
STANDARDS for the Special Review Permit shall
require the approval of an amendment of the permit
by the Weld County Planning Commission and the
Board of County Commissioners before such changes
from the plan map or DEVELOPMENT STANDARDS are
permitted. The Department of Planning Services is
responsible for determining whether a major change
