RE: DECLARE CERTAIN EQUIPMENT AS SURPLUS PROPERTY
WHEREAS , the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS , State statute and the Weld County Administrative
Manual require that all items disposed of be declared surplus by
the Board of County Commissioners , and
WHEREAS , it has been determined that the following Sheriff' s
vehicles have been wrecked and are of no further use to Weld
County: 1) Chevy Malibu, Asset #6504144; Chevy Malibu, Asset
#6504142; and a Chevy Impala, Asset #15040009 , and
WHEREAS , the insurance carrier has agreed to a settlement of
$7 , 350 . 00 for Asset #15040009 and Weld County will dispose of
Asset #6504144 and #6504142 by selling them for salvage to the
highest bidder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County , Colorado, that certain Sheriff ' s
vehicles, described as Asset Nos. 6504144 , 6504142 , and 15040009 ,
be , and hereby are, declared surplus property.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded , adopted by the following vote on the 30th day of
June, A.D. , 1986 .
