RE: APPOINTMENT OF MEMBERS TO SERVE AS THE BOARD AND CARE APPEALS
BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Ordinance No. 127 , which concerns the
operation of Board and Care Homes in Weld County, a Board and Care
Appeals Board shall be designated by the Board of County
Commissioners to hear any appeal of the denial, suspension or
revocation of a license, and
WHEREAS, said Board shall consist of three members of the
Weld County Advisory Board of Health and three members of the Area
Agency on Aging Advisory Board, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended by the Weld County Health
Department that Merrill Hall, Evelyn Knaub and DeeAnn Groves, from
the Area Agency on Aging Advisory Board, and Barbara Steffens, Dr.
T.E. Baldwin and Dale Benson, of the Weld County Advisory Board of
Health, be appointed to serve on said Board.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the Board and Care
Appeals Board for Weld County, Colorado, be, and hereby is,
established.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that Merrill Hall, Evelyn
Knaub, DeeAnn Groves, Barbara Steffens , Dr. T.E. Baldwin and Dale
Benson be, and hereby are, appointed to serve on said Board.
