HomeMy WebLinkAbout860934 RESOLUTION RE: APPROVE VACATION OF DEVELOPMENT STANDARDS FOR CHANGE OF ZONE GRANTED JULY 6 , 1977 - ROBERT E. AND LANORA COMER WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS , on July 6 , 1977 , the Board approved a Change of Zone for Robert E. and Lanora Comer, dba Plastic Art Products , said Change of Zone being for property located in Part of the SE4 of Section 9 , Township 5 North , Range 65 West of the 6th P.M. , Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, on September 24 , 1986 , Robert E. and Lanora Comer requested that the Development Standards associated with said Change of Zone be vacated , due to having been granted a Use by Special Review permit on this date, said Use by Special Review containing ten Development Standards, and WHEREAS , the Board, after consideration , deems it appropriate to vacate those Development Standards associated with the Change of Zone. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the Development Standards associated with the Change of Zone which was granted on July 6 , 1977 , be , and hereby are , vacated. The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 24th day of September, A.D. , 1986 . The Planning Commission does not object to the vacation of the existing Development Standards for Z-248:77:2 and is proposing the Development Standards for USR-755:86:35 become effective following approval by the Board of County Commissioners. This would require that the Planning Commission take a separate action on the vacation of the stated Standards for Z-284:77:2. The staff would not object to the vacation of the existing Development Standards for Z-248:77:2. The staff is proposing new Development Standards for the proposed use.
