RE: APPOINTMENT OF HARLAN ELSE TO WELD COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, a vacancy currently exists on the Weld County
Planning Commission , due to the resignation of Bill McMurray, and
WHEREAS , it has been recommended that Harlan Else, be
appointed to represent Advisory Board Area 6 on said Commission,
to fill said unexpired term, and
WHEREAS, the Board desires to appoint Harlan Else to the Weld
County Planning Commission, with a term to expire July 31 , 1986 .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that Harlan Else be, and
hereby is, appointed to the Weld County Planning Commission, for a
term to expire July 31 , 1986 .
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 3rd day of
February, A.D. , 1986 .

Harlan Else - Harlan has been appointed to the Planning Commission. He
replaces Bill McMurray, Advisory Board Area 6. His term of office will
expire July 31, 1986.

Dan Vallez - Dan has been appointed to the Human Resources Advisory Board.
He is filling the vacancy left by Dvaid Van Sant. His term of office
will expire on December 31, 1988.
John Rivera - John has been appointed to the Human Resources Advisory
Board. He is filling the vacancy left by Diane Waters. His term of
office will expire on December 31, 1986.

It is with regret that I must resign from the Weld County Planning
Commission.
I have started to publish a new newspaper in Brighton and cannot
devote the time necessary to be a good Commission member.
I have enjoyed working with you, the other members of the Planning
Dept. , the Commission members, and the Weld County Commissioners.
