RE: APPOINTMENT OF DR. JOE R. FERGUSON AS DIRECTOR OF THE WELD
COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado , and
WHEREAS , Dr. Ralph R. Wooley has resigned the position of
Director of the Weld County Health Department, said resignation to
be effective May 1 , 1987 , and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has entered into
an agreement with Normedco Care , Inc . , to provide physician and
management services to the Weld County Health Department and
further deems it advisable to appoint Dr. Joe R. Ferguson as
Director of the Weld County Health Department.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that Dr. Joe R. Ferguson
be, and hereby is , appointed as the Director of the Weld County
Health Department, with said appointment to be effective May 1 ,
1987 .
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 27th day of
April, A.D. , 1987 .
