RE: Disclosure of Conflict of Interest Pursuant to Colorado
Revised Statute 18-8-308, as Amended
Dear Secretary of State :
As you know, Colorado Revised Statutes , 18-8-308 requires that a dis-
closure be made of any conflict of interest involving any substantial dis-
cretionary function in connection with a government contract , purchase pay-
ment or other pecuniary transaction. I am now serving as a Commissioner
for the Greeley-Weld County Airport Authority with a term expiring in
September, 1986.
I am herein informing you that I have the following interests in the
private sector which may, from time to time, conflict with my duties as a
Commissioner for the Greeley-Weld County Airport Authority:
1. i am a member of the Board of Directors of United Bank of Greeley.
The Greeley-Weld County Airport Authority from time to time borrows money
and does its banking at the United Bank of Greeley.
2. I own an airplane for which I buy fuel., lease space and generally use
the Greeley-Weld County Airport.
3. I am the owner of land in the Southwest quarter of Section 12, T4N,
R65W adjacent to a Greeley area private airport that may become a part
of the Valley View Airpark, a residentially oriented P.U.D. now in the
planning stages.
I am furnishing you the above information only because C.R.S.
18-8-3O8 requires such disclosure. While I intend to exercise good judg-
ment in voting on matters affecting the Airport at all times , I have been
advised to file this letter for your information.
