RE: APPROVAL OF MAP TO BE SUBMITTED TO THE COLORADO DEPARTMENT OF
HIGHWAYS SHOWING TOTAL MILEAGE OF PUBLIC ROADS IN WELD COUNTY
WHICH ARE ELIGIBLE FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE HIGHWAY USERS TAX
FUND
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Engineering Department has prepared
a map to be submitted to the Colorado Department of Highways
showing the total miles of public roads in Weld County which have
been accepted by the County and are eligible for participation in
the Highway Users Tax Fund, and
WHEREAS, said mileage consists of 510 .30 miles of County
Primary Roads and 2818 . 80 of County Secondary Roads , and
WHEREAS , the Board deems it advisable to approve said map to
be submitted to the Colorado Department of Highways.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County , Colorado, that said map to be
submitted to the Colorado Department of Highways concerning the
total mileage of public roads in Weld County, which are eligible
for participation in the Highway Users Tax Fund , be, and hereby
is, approved .
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded , adopted by the following vote on the 7th day of
January, A.D. , 1987 .

Gentlemen:
Weld County accepts the map submitted by the
Colorado Department of Highways on (date) December 17, 1986 ,
which has a total of 3280.4 miles of public roads that have been
accepted by the County and are eligible for participation in the High-
way Users Tax Fund. This mileage consists of 510.3 miles of
County Primary Roads and 2818.80 miles of County Secondary Roads .
In addition, the County has 357.43 miles of public roads that have
been accepted by the County, but are not maintained by the County,
which are not eligible for participation in the Highway Users Tax
Fund. This map and these mileages are in agreement with your recent
inventory of Weld County.
