RESOLUTION
RE: APPROVE DECLARING CERTAIN CONSOLES AND ASSOCIATED ATTACHMENTS
AS SURPLUS PROPERTY AND AUTHORIZE SALE OF SAME
WHEREAS , the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, Weld County has installed new consoles in the
Communications Department, and
WHEREAS, those consoles which were replaced are obsolete and
no longer of value to Weld County, and
WHEREAS , the City of Colorado Springs has offered to purchase
said consoles for $6 ,500 .00 , and
WHEREAS, the City of Colorado Springs is a governmental
entity; therefore , the Board deems it advisable to approve said
sale by intergovernmental agreement and not through a competitive
bid process, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Communications and the Director of
Finance and Administration recommend the sale of said consoles to
the City of Colorado Springs, in the amount of $6 ,500 .00 .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, hereby declares said
consoles and associated attachments as surplus property.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Board hereby authorizes the
sale of said consoles and associated attachments to the City of
Colorado Springs for $6 ,500 . 00 as an intergovernmental agreement.

The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 10th day of
August, A.D. , 1988 .
