Assigned To: Lee Date : February 22 , 1988
RE: Question by Clerk to the Board Concerning Pooling Agreement
Attached is a file on an oil and gas lease with a request that we
sign a Ratification of Pooling. I would like to have you examine
this with respect to whether or not it is one of the older leases
which did not have a pooling clause and if that be the case the
Clerk to the Board wants to know whether the $50 . 00 fee which was
instituted by the Board a week or so ago, would apply in this
case. In other words , the question is whether or not the original
lease has to be amended to allow pooling which triggers the $50 .00
fee followed by a ratification of pooling. Advise Mary Reiff of
your decision and do it right away because if the $50 .00 fee is
required they want to call this company right back because this is
going to appear on the agenda on Wednesday, February 24 , 1988 .
