HomeMy WebLinkAbout851324.tiff RESOLUTION RE: APPROVAL OF AMENDMENT TO RECORDED EXEMPTION NO. 439 - THOMAS AND EVELYN FUXA WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners on January 23 , 1980 , did approve Recorded Exemption No. 439 for Thomas and Evelyn Fuxa for property described as Part Eh SE4 of Section 2 , Township 2 North, Range 67 West of the 6th P.M. , Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, Thomas and Evelyn Fuxa are now requesting that Recorded Exemption No. 439 be amended to increase Lot A approximately one-third of an acre in order to provide better access to said Lot A, decreasing Lot B by the same amount of acreage, and WHEREAS, after study and review, the Board deems it advisable to approve the request to amend Recorded Exemption No. 439 . NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the request of Thomas and Evelyn Fuxa to amend Recorded Exemption No. 439 be, and hereby is, approved. The parcel of land is described as Pt. E' SE's of Section 2, T2N, R67W of the 6th P.M. , Weld County, Colorado. The property is located approximately 3 miles southwest of Platteville. The proposed amendment will increase Lot A approximately one third acre in size to provide better access to the lot. The size of Lot B will be decreased by the same amount of acreage. Approval of the amended recorded exemption will not create any additional residential building sites. Based upon the submitted information and policies of the County, the Department of Planning Services staff recommends the request be approved for the following reasons: 1. The impact on surrounding agricultural land uses does not appear to be significantly different than the original request approved on January 23, 1980. 2.
