RE : APPROVE QUARTERLY PERFORMANCE REPORT FOR 1988 COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM AND AUTHORIZE CHAIRMAN TO
SIGN
WHEREAS , the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with a Quarterly
Performance Report for the 1988 Community Development Block Grant
(CDBG) Program, and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to
approve said Quarterly Performance Report , a copy of which is
attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the Quarterly
Performance Report for the 1988 CDBG Program be , and hereby is,
approved .
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chairman be, and
hereby is , authorized to sign said Report.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded , adopted by the following vote on the 24th day of
April, A.D. , 1989 .

"Small Cities" Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program

April 1 through June 30, 19 = Oct. 1 through Dec. 31 , 19 —
1 . What has been undertaken and/or completed during the reporting
period? How does this progress relate to "milestones" contained in
the approved project schedule?
We have completed four projects in Galeton. We are behind schedule
due to an insufficient applicant-response from Galeton. We have
undertaken and completed expansion of the target area, and are to
catch up to the milestones in the third quarter.

2. What will be undertaken and/or completed during the next reporting
period? How does this projected progress relate to the "milestones"
contained in the approved project schedule?
We expect to have all units under contract by the end of the next
quarter. We will still be behind the completion schedule, but
expect to be caught up by the third quarter.

3. Have any complaints been received or have problems or issues '
developed related to financial management, environmental review,
civil .rights, labor standards, displacement/acquisition/relocation or
other matters? If so, how have these been or how will these be
resolved?
No complaints have been received.

4. What, if any, additional technical assistance is needed to
successfully complete the project?
We appreciate information on workshops or conferences to expand our
staff expertise.
